What You’ll Do:
• Program and operate 3- and 5-axis CNC machinery to produce precision components.
• Review CAD files and engineering drawings for machinability and participate in Manufacturing Readiness Reviews.
• Develop manufacturing estimates (material/tooling pricing and timelines) and specify appropriate tooling.
• Machine tight-tolerance parts from aluminum, stainless, titanium, and exotic alloys; monitor production and adjust machine settings for quality and efficiency.
• Design and manufacture fixturing, perform QA checks, document defects, and maintain production database status.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and minor repairs; assist Manufacturing Lead with workflow planning.

• Demonstrated safety record and willingness to follow safety protocol.
• U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual per 8 U.S.C. §1324b(a)(3), or eligible for required government authorizations.
• Successful candidates must pass a paid in-person practical demonstration on a company CNC machine.

I’d aim for the top of the range if you’re doing offline programming plus first-article setups; if it’s mostly repeats with dialed-in libraries, mid-30s can make sense. @gradavi good call — ask: ‘Are tool libraries and posts standardized, and do you probe in-cycle or hand-touch off?’ At my last shop in Jessup, standard libraries + probing turned nights into watch-the-lights instead of babysitting; otherwise you’re wrenching and typing at the same time for free.
