Thermal fit gotcha with Ti and 17–4 pins

Quick question: if a 0.2500 +0.0002/-0.0000 reamed hole in Ti-6Al-4V at 68°F takes a 0.2500 17–4 PH dowel, does clearance get tighter at 300°F or at -40°F, and by roughly how much on diameter? I ran the CTE math on a fixture this morning and the result surprised a couple folks on our floor.

With your “0.2500 +0.0002/-0.0000”, hotter tight: ~+0.00008" at 300°F; -40°F loosens about 0.00004". Oil it?
