The art of mold making for precision parts

I’ve been working on some intricate molds for plastic injection lately and it’s fascinating how even the smallest details can impact the final product. Recently, I created a mold for a complex automotive part that required a lot of precise measurements and adjustments — how do others approach these challenges in their projects?

It’s amazing how precision can feel like being a tightrope walker — one wrong move and it all comes crashing down — i usually start by double-checking the measurements before cutting, just to be safe. Do you also find yourself making adjustments on the fly, or do you plan everything out in advance?
