New Tooling Awaits in My Shop

I just upgraded to a new CNC mill last week and I’m eager to explore its potential — it’s a big step up from my old machine, which had seen better days. Anyone here transitions from traditional machining to CNC? I’d love to hear your experiences with this shift.

Jumping to CNC really changes the game. I remember the learning curve, especially around programming, but it’s so worth it for efficiency. Have you considered joining some online forums or classes?

Upgrading to a CNC mill is exciting! I remember how the programming took some getting used to, but it really boosted my efficiency… Have you thought about checking out some CNC tutorials online? @alerodr.

It’s great to hear you’ve upgraded to a new CNC mill! When I made the switch, I found that really diving into the software documentation helped speed up my learning curve. Don’t be afraid to experiment with settings; sometimes the best improvements come from trying something out of the ordinary.

It’s always a thrill to get a new CNC, especially coming from an outdated machine. I’ve found that creating some initial projects to test the mill’s capabilities really helps with understanding its potential. Have you picked out any specific projects to dive into yet, @sophia_williams57?
