First month on a Haas — must-have tools

New machinist here running a Haas VF-2 and hopping on a manual Bridgeport now and then, and I’m piecing together a starter kit — what everyday tools do you reach for at the mill: edge finder vs Haimer, 0–1" mic or just calipers, test indicator, deburring tools? Also, any practical safety habits you wish you learned sooner — chip curtains and door discipline, air blast under control, stance during dry runs — things that keep fingers and eyes intact?

@OP Haimer on VF-2; keep 0–1" mic. Got a test indicator yet? Brush chips, doors shut — “door discipline,” no air blast.
