Efficiency Gains with New CAD Software

We’ve recently integrated a new CAD software in our shop, and the impact on our design process has been incredible. Less time debugging and more time on actual machining means we can meet deadlines more consistently. I’m curious if anyone else has had similar experiences or suggestions for maximizing efficiency with new tech?

It’s great to hear your CAD software’s boosting efficiency! I found that setting up templates for our most common designs cut down our setup time significantly. Have you tried customizing any templates yet?

I totally relate to your experience with the new CAD software making a huge difference. One thing that helped us was integrating simulation tools that allow us to preview designs before machining — it’s saved us from costly mistakes and cut down on rework time. Have you explored any simulation capabilities yet?

That’s awesome to hear about the time savings! I found that using parametric designs with our CAD also helped us streamline revisions, which is a game changer for meeting tight deadlines. Have you thought about using any plugins to further enhance your workflow, @nathan_bell34?
