Cleanroom-friendly coolants and cutters

I’m machining 316L and PEEK in an ISO 7 cell and need a cutting fluid and coating combo that won’t complicate biocompatibility or leave residues before citric passivation and ultrasonic DI wash (40 kHz). Anyone had good luck with non‑sulfurized synthetics and uncoated carbide, or is there a TiAlN option that clears extractables while staying sharp on 0.020 in features?

And i’ve had good luck in ISO 7 using Blaser Synergy 735 — “boron‑free, oil‑free” — at about 4% in DI, uncoated micro‑grain for the 0.020" PEEK cuts, TiAlN on 316L, then a two‑stage DI ultrasonic (40 kHz, then 80 kHz) before citric. It rinses off like a polite houseguest; if you want to skip Ti, DLC on the PEEK tools is a solid fallback — what’s your NVR/TOC limit?
