Over the past six weeks I’ve watched carbide drills slide from 10–12 weeks down to 5–6, while vises and modular fixturing are still quoted at 8–10; for those of you ordering direct or through distribution, is that your reality too? I’m trying to set clearer timelines for a couple of aerospace accounts after a 24-piece 1/2" through-coolant drill order finally landed at week 7, and I’d rather recommend alternates up front if the backlog isn’t easing.
